About us

The Cambridgeshire Care Home

The Cambridgeshire Care Home is a boutique residential care home part of First Care Homes. Based within the small and peaceful village of Great Shelford, our purpose-built local care home is nestled in beautiful gardens and overlooks the surrounding countryside. We’re also just a short drive away from the historic county town of Cambridge, a city famous for its university, chapels and River Cam.

Specialising in elderly care services, including dementia, respite, and nursing care, our care experts provide exceptional personal care and assistance based on the individual needs of our residents and their families. Firmly operating by the family values on which we were founded, we treat everyone living here with dignity, compassion and respect and encourage individuality to flourish for the best possible quality of life in later years.
