Care and Support
At The Cambridgeshire Care Home we pride ourselves on being able to provide comprehensive short and long-term care packages, carefully designed to meet the needs of each individual.
Our multi-disciplined care team provides high quality care tailored to individual needs 24 hours a day. We aim to provide a safe, homely environment with a person-centred approach.
Our staff are highly qualified and to ensure our high standards are maintained, we operate a continual programme of training and support for all members of staff.
Prior to admission to The Cambridgeshire Care Home a ‘pre-admission’ care needs assessment will be undertaken. This assessment enables our Home Manager to evaluate a person’s needs, to form the basis of their individualised care plan. The individual’s needs and wishes are central to this assessment – the care plans are developed alongside the resident and family may be also be involved should the resident wish it.
There are regular reviews of the care plans to ensure that appropriate care is delivered at all times and to ensure any changes to care needs are taken into consideration. Each care plan details not only the health needs of the resident, but also their spiritual, occupational, physical and day-to-day living needs. This means all of a resident’s needs are supported throughout their stay with us.
