I started my career with the NHS, then went on to work for a large housing organisation and for the past 6 years private healthcare. I have been a Manager for the past 13 years.

I enjoy working with people, being able to make a difference, and ensuring each of our residents is treated as an individual with respect and dignity, and watching our residents grow enjoying their previous hobbies and lifestyle and gaining new experiences and activities . I believe in a hands on approach working with the team and residents delivering quality care with compassion.

I worked at our sister home in Ipswich as the Head of Care for Dementia.  Since qualifying as a Registered Nurse I have always worked in Care Homes. My passion is to ensure that our residents are given outstanding and dignified care from our team and to ensure our residents really are ‘living and not just existing.’
