About Us

A Cambridge Care Home

The Caring Homes Group is a corporate care home operator providing care and support across two specialist divisions, namely Caring Homes and Consensus Support. Founded in 1994 by the Jeffery family, Caring Homes Group is a quality accredited, multi-award-winning health and social care operator who provide care, support and treatment services to elderly people, younger adults with profound learning disabilities, adults with acute psychiatric illness and vulnerable families.

We are The Cambridgeshire care home, a boutique residential care home founded by the family behind the highly regarded Caring Homes Group and First Care Homes.

You can find our home in the small village of Great Shelford, a short four-mile drive away from the historic county town of Cambridge. A city that is famous for its university, chapels and River Cam.

In this renowned setting, we have purpose-built our Cambridge care home to be the very best in residential care. Here, we provide exceptional personal assistance based on each resident’s needs. It doesn’t matter if a resident’s stay is short or long, we treat everyone living here with dignity, compassion and respect.
